IN the Guardian recently there was an article saying the council was looking to improve the pond by Theydon Grove.
What a great idea.
The pond would be a lovely place to sit at lunchtime and I am sure other people would agree.
At the moment many people don't even know it's there because there is very poor access.
If there were more benches installed and a proper path it could become a very well used area.
Currently, there are very few places for people working in Epping to go at lunch time.
The pond would be the perfect place for workers on the high street to sit during the summer.
It is also near to the playgroup at Stonards Hill and I'm sure lots of the mothers picking up their children would love to feed the ducks afterwards.
It is a lovely area, but currently is not made the most of and I think the council is right to put their time into it.
Epping High Street is short of places like this which could be really nice during the summer months.
I would definitely use it and I'm sure many other people would too if it had better access.
